Sally Tawfik is currently in her 4th year of teaching at
Dulles Middle School. Sally helped her orchestras receive sweepstakes award at the U.I.L. competition and outstanding orchestra at DC Festival. She graduated with honors from Houston Baptist University in the spring of 2007 receiving her Bachelors of Music in Music Education under the mentorship of
Dr. Richard Fiese. At HBU she was involved in the Texas Music Education Conference and Psalmwriters, an on campus songwriting organization. She is currently a member of
Texas Music Educators Association and Texas Music Directors Association. Back in the day Ms. Tawfik also attended Dulles Middle School and Dulles High School under the direction of
Ms. Ellen Townley and
Mr. Michael Isadore. Sally is currently the sponsor of the Dulles Middle School Songwriting Club and has performed on violin with the Houston Civic Symphony since 2006.
Aside from teaching music in Sugar Land, Tawfik tours on violin with indie rock band,
